  • Capacitate the people to become effective enablers and facilitators of the Socio-Economic transformatory process of the disadvantaged and marginalized community - especially among women, children and youth - through participatory approaches for their better livelihood, dignified life and sustainable use of natural resources and to protect and conserve the mother planet.

Who we are

PLANT has started on 9th September 1999 with an aim to promote Biodiversity Conservation based livelihood projects among marginalized communities, women, child development, Research and Advocacy. Looking around the present trends our organization has changed from a Charity to a Development self-help approach in which people become a main focal point and enable the people to become key players, change agents and claim holders in their own development process of change. PLANT is very contemporary in its approach and Interventions incorporate the latest technologies, innovation and skilling in all our Interventions. The founder of PLANT Dr.R.T.John Suresh is an environmental and social scientist who is having rich experience in promoting and implementing Biodiversity conservation projects, sustainable development projects, conduct research and development, work toward policy research and advocacy programmes. He is also an international lawyer fight for the social justice of the marginalized. PLANT is having eminent and highly qualified staff who are renowned Environment and Social scientists, academicians, Lawyers, conservationists and Field experts.
