Asian Health Institute (AHI) - Japan Alumni Reunion

The Asian Health Institute, Japan Alumni Reunion organized by PLANT in India in 2016 served as a platform for international cooperation and knowledge exchange in the field of rural health empowerment, community health, disability rehabilitation, biodiversity conservation, and traditional health practices.

Seminar Objectives

  • Study the Health Empowerment process of the Rural poor in Tamil Nadu: Analyzed strategies for improving rural health outcomes through programs and initiatives tailored to the local context.
  • Learn about Community Health and Disability Rehabilitation programs: Explored best practices and innovations from Japan and India in these fields.
